What does the free version include?

The free version includes Quick Calc plus one saved job with room-by-room estimating and a Client Proposal PDF. After that first job is used, additional saved jobs and the full estimating workflow require BoardCount Pro.

What does BoardCount Pro unlock?

BoardCount Pro unlocks additional saved jobs, the reusable price book, labor and markup workflow, sell price, and ongoing Internal Estimate and Client Proposal PDF export.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open the Pro screen or Settings and use Restore Purchases.

Does BoardCount require an account?

No. The current version does not require account creation.

Does BoardCount sync to the cloud?

No. BoardCount is designed to be offline-first in the current version.

Where is my data stored?

In the current version, job and settings data are stored locally on your device.

Are BoardCount estimates guaranteed?

No. BoardCount provides estimates based on the measurements, pricing, labor rates, waste factors, and assumptions entered by the user. Always verify quantities, dimensions, prices, taxes, code requirements, and jobsite conditions before ordering materials, signing a contract, or starting work.

Troubleshooting Pro Access

  1. Confirm you are signed into the same Apple ID used for the purchase.
  2. Open the Pro screen or Settings.
  3. Tap Restore Purchases.
  4. Make sure you are using an App Store, TestFlight, or development build.
